"Back in 2008, when we started off Tucci's, finding the right bread was a big deal. I went to The New World Bakery, one of the few local spots making bread from scratch and delivering it fresh every day. When I told them I needed a 14-inch Italian hoagie roll that’s super light (just few ounces) they said it couldn’t be done. My reply? "They do it in Philly every day!"
They didn’t back down. They reached out to bakeries in Philly, got some insider tips, and after a lot of trial and error, they nailed it. Now, they make these authentic hoagie rolls just for us.
This bread is the real deal - no fillers, no preservatives, just light, pure flavor with a crust that holds up to all the oil and vinegar a proper Italian hoagie needs. East coast folks notice it all the time, and that’s how we know it’s the real deal."
